Social skill small groups are an excellent way to develop and practice essential interpersonal skills. I work with students in various groups which target friendship making skills, social interaction, initiation, self-esteem, coping skills, anxiety, expressing feelings, social thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. The social thinking lessons are based in part on Michelle Garcia Winner's social thinking activities. Her website is a great resource http://www.socialthinking.com
